This spring/carnival/fair/party week, whatever, is AWESOME. I've been to a lot of different schools and we've never done anything like this in ANY of them. Not since I was in elementary school. Back then they had to stop using helium balloons because all the kids would inhale the gas to make their voice sound funny, not know when to quit, and then pass out!

I think we should have had a talent show, though, because that would have been good to see. I'd put on a great show too. You see, I know a lot of magic, rabbits out of the hat, card tricks, the swords through the box, the whole bit. I even have a top hat! Of course, I'd need a lovely assistant. I'm sure I wouldn't have too much trouble finding someone around here.

No offense to any of the teachers here but I really can't wait for school to be over. I can barely stand to get through Computers now as it is and Math is downright torturous. Plus, after this year, I'll be done with school entirely. Since in June I'll be rejoining my father on the Circuit and traveling an awful lot I'm thinking about taking college courses online. Probably something in computers, maybe security? I'd be good at that, or something in communications because I'd rather deal with a person than a machine.

I was going to go to Richmond this weekend with my dad but that portion of the tour has been postponed indefinitely. I guess a seminar about improving your sixth sense isn't too welcomed in a town after psychics blew up their airport. That sucks, I was going to detour back home to see all my old friends too but instead we're going to Philadelphia. The only place I plan on detouring to there is the Mutter Museum.

What complicates everything more is the fact that as well as Zener, the FBI is investigating my dad. I'm trying to be optimistic and think of it as free security as some times those picketers get a little too drunk on their own indignation but I've seen far too many cop movies to trust the government when they need to make a strong statement quickly.

I realize it's fairly late in the evening to be hanging around the internet but that's one of the joys of youth, isn't it? Needing about half an hour of sleep?

I've been doing some research on my favorite website The Guinness World Records and I decided I'm going go for the record of the Most Spoons Balanced On A Human Face. Right now the title goes to Joe Allison from Devon in the UK. He balanced 16 spoons on his face and I totally think I can beat that, I just need to figure out where to put them all.

I hope everyone had a good Valentine's with lots of gifts and candy and snogging in dark corners! I didn't get to hit all those bases but I still had a good time in town with my date.

I've noticed that Zener has a very nice WALL being built around it. It's very becoming. I'm going to assume this wall is to deal with the curious non-psychic people of North Conway and those with questions and also television crews behind them and not because of the kidnappings that happened here in November. I guess I'm just wondering what is the administration thinking? )

Good morning, Zener!

I'm a new student, today's my first day so if you see some kid walking around looking confused that's probably me - unless that sort of thing is common around here? Anyway, my name is Easton Price. Iggy told me the other day that when you meet people here they want to know your name first and then want to know what their ability is so I'll tell you that, also! I'm a Technopath.

I'm moving here from Virginia but I didn't really live there for very long or anything. My dad and I spend a lot of time on the road but that's where I've been for the past six months. I'm a senior here and I'm taking Computes 3, World History, English 12, Chemistry 12, Math 12, and I can't believe I'm going to say this, but Dance. I wanted to take P.E. but it's at the same time as Computers so that was out of the question.

I'm looking forward class today...which I'd better get ready for, I guess, since it starts in half an hour!

And then there's a moment when you're famous just right. )
